Every dress I add to my wardrobe has its own story. The story usually begins with me scouring the web, flipping through a magazine, or perusing my favorite boutiques looking for love. Let them eat cake!!! Alber Elbaz opened his 2012 Fall/Winter show with birthday cake to celebrate his ten years at Lanvin. In an imaginary world that exists only in my head, I only wear Lanvin for cocktail attire. Fortunately for me, the budget in this fictitious world is limitless. I will be adding several pieces from this collection to the "wardrobe." The show was full of bejeweled ensembles that I am certain will look fabulous on me. There was also some serious statement jewelry, elbow length leather gloves, and colorful fur stoles. I loved it all. If this isn't cocktail attire, I don't know what is. The show finished with Monsieur Elbaz sing Que sera, sera. Who knew he had a singing voice...
