Dutch Masters

Walking the streets of Amsterdam makes you feel as if you’re a character in a Rembrandt painting. The city has a culture rich in art that can be seen in the Dutch architecture and on every bicycle covered bridge. Amsterdam is peaceful, a beautiful blend of history and Tesla electric cars.

My wool double breasted coat is from the Fall 2009 Gucci collection. It was apart of look number 1 and was shown with a wide belt. It features a strong sharp shoulder and a small notched collar. I purchased this coat for the fit and cut but also for the black and white polka dot lining.

The top is the Balenciaga Sphinx T Shirt from the 2013 Pre Fall Capsule T's collection. The dolman sleeve shirt reads Join a Weird Trip, features a colorful Egyptian themed screen print, and is a reference to Nicolas Ghesquiere's 2012 Fall / Winter show. The original collection of sci fi and pyramid inspired tops was aptly named Egypto Funk.

My black skirt is from The Kooples. It is stretch faux leather with an exposed center back zip. I’m wearing the Excite Pump from Stuart Weitzman, a four inch heel with a lace up closure. My most practical footwear for exploring the city and eating stroopwafels.
